Florence Nightingale


 Florence Nightingale was born on May 12, 1820-August 13, 1910, born in Italy, a family from the British high society. First, she studied nursing in Germany. After Nightingale studied nursing in Germany, she worked in a hospital in London. Florence Nightingale (1820-1910), known as “The Lady With the Lamp,” she was a British nurse, social reformer, and statistician, but best known as the founder of modern nursing

 

 Her experiences as a nurse during the Crimean War were foundational in her views about sanitation. She helped many soldiers care. She came to prominence while serving as a manager and trainer of nurses during the Crimean War, in which she organized to care for wounded soldiers. She is a hero because she changed the hospital and saved lives with her determination and hard work. 


 Florence Nightingale also changed the profession of nursing forever. Hospitals around the world were changed, and caring for the sick became an honorable profession. She also improved hospitalsNightingale helped improve hospitals and still influences their modern design. By making sanitary improvements and establishing standards for clean and safe hospitals, she helped bring down the death rate for soldiers being treated in them.
