My friend Sophia and I went to the Red Door escape room in Hillsdale mall! It was the first time that Sophia had played an escape room game.  A game tourist named Gabi helped guide us through the rules. After we watched a few background videos, we went inside the room. We were playing "Prison Break," a series of rooms that are part of a "prison" that we will have to escape. There was a hint button, and we could use that three times. For every extra we use, we add 3 minutes.  When we went into the room, there were two huge items: A toilet and a table. There was a mat on the stone table with a weird symbol on it. Under the table was a medium-sized black box with a combination lock securing it. "So, we need to find four numbers for this answer," Sophia said. There was also a rock inscribed: "for wa rd s/asH." Yesterday, we planned to go to Heavenly Valley to sled. Unfortunately, the snow was too thick for us to go sledding there, so we decided to go to a place where there was a tiny hill for sledding.  When I got to the sledding hill, I realized that the snow was quite soft. But as I walked in the snow, I started to fall in the snow! Deep footprints sunk in the dense snow. I followed my mom's tracks, and I finally made it to the other side of freshly fallen snow.  I dragged my sled up the hill onto the lower side. Suddenly, my dad appeared in the back of me. I was a little frightened by him, but I wanted to sled this instant, so I quickly sat in the neon blue and yellow sled. With my hands tightening the rope attached to my sled, my dad pushed me off the hill, and I slid down. At first, I was scared.  I would want to transform into a bird sometimes. Being a bird has some advantages I would like to have.  As a bird, I can fly. I had a desire when I was tiny to fly like a magic fairy! I covet watching aspects of buildings and other things from above. If I were a hummingbird or a songbird, I would hang around my house and get pollen or sing songs. My dad likes hummingbirds, and my mom likes to take pictures of songbirds in the yard. I also enjoy music, so if I choose between a songbird and a hummingbird, I would prefer to be a songbird. Of course, I would also enjoy being a hummingbird. They fly super fast and can stay in the air without moving.  Birds spread seeds, and that is good for the environment. I like to be a person that helps the environment fill will green plants and trees, elegant and bright-colored flowers, and other particular sprout types. Fall break is exciting, but some people complain that one week is too short. In my opinion, one week is just the right amount for students to relax and learn. Students need to find a balance. Nine days should be enough for students to take a vacation and to review many academics. Enjoying time with family is memorable. For example, I will be going to Napa with my mom and dad on a hot air balloon, to make pottery, and to relax as a sweet treat for myself. See? The "sweet treat" is what fall break is rewarding you. Fall break is a great time to prepare for Halloween. There will be Halloween soon, which is another fun holiday. Even though there is no break time for Halloween, you still get to have lots of fun! Last but not least, Fall break is an exciting time to experiment and learn things that you don't usually get time to do in class, like reading comic books, writing essays on creative topics, and drawing! The object in my home that has special significance to me is the piano. It is important to me for many reasons.  First, I like my piano because it is special and unique. It is a full 88 keys piano rather than a keyboard that has fewer than 66 keys. There is so much to explore. Its texture in sound is different than any other piano. It is extraordinary, and I nearly play it every day. Experimenting with making melodies on the piano is very fun. I like to enhance a composition of music by myself. I play around with harmonies and different sheet music.  Next, pianos are soothing, and you can practice them at all times. You could make the piano sound like a bird whispering in the forest, or you can make it sound like a massive whale in the deep of the ocean.  I remember the weekend I got this piano. My favorite place to go is China.  First of all, all of my uncles, aunts, grandpas' and grandmas' are in China, and I also like to hang out with them, not just with my mom and dad (however, I DO love them). My cousins, aunts, grandmas' and grandpas' hover over me. I have a fun time when I am playing with them.  The second reason for China being my favorite place is the culture. I get to explore a lot in China, and China has a thick culture there are always new things to learn about the country. I personally find China fascinating. In 2019, I went to China to look at a traditional music opera called jīng jü. It was really fun and kinda hard to understand, but I got to know more about the history of China. Next, China already has the Covid vaccine and their situation is already getting better, and most people do not have to worry too much about this "Covid incident". Health is very important. First of all, cats are very nimble and can jump on sofas and other obstacles relatively quickly. Being very flexible and active can turn into an advantage when other animals try to bite you. If I could design my own dream house, I would want my dream house to be very unattractive outside. First of all, if I made it very attractive and polished, people would often walk around the house, and robbers or thieves would want to steal things from inside the house. I would make it into a house that looks very simple and small. However, on the inside, it would be very pleasing.  Just as you enter the small one-story entrance, there would be an elevator leading to all five underground floors. In total, the house would have seven main rooms, one bedroom, a music room, and an arcade room on these five underground floors. There would be a few other rooms for learning and other accessibilities, like the study room. There would be a room where I grow spices and vegetables, like a tiny greenhouse! Today, I woke up at 5:00 in the morning, hearing my detective phone alert, "Beep! Beep!" "Oh no, " I said, waking up my friend Ange. She is a detective, like me. She has black hair and is very skinny, "What? " She said, sounding exhausted. She climbed out of bed and changed her pajamas into our detective equipment. I told her that we have yet another mystery to solve.   I informed her that the mystery was about forest wildfires. I quickly changed on my detective equipment and headed out. It was refreshing and foggy outside. Ange and I immediately went to the nearby forest to examine the trees. After that, I interviewed a few other people who own forest campsites and state parks while Ange went back home to do research. Some of the people who own the sites say it is because of the climate. The Ohlones were a unique tribe, and I was one of them now. People were catching fish, mussels, acorns, and elk.  I thought of something I learned about the tribe. I remember our teacher told us that after California entered into the Union in 1850, the US government fought against the Ohlone people. I have to get home before California entered into the Union.  I quickly told the Ohlone people all the facts I know. I encouraged the people. I also helped them make spears and nets. They offered me shelter and food. They made lots of bread, along with some raisins and supplementary fruits. After a few months, I found a piece of paper under my pillow. It stated: You have to solve this riddle to get back to your original hometown. I am part of the Ohlone tribe, I live in the waters. I am not a mammal, Guess who I am! My favorite type of candy is Sour Patch Kids.  Let me first tell you about Sour Patch Kids. They were originally invented by Frank Galatolie in the early 1970s. In the late 1970s, Cadbury and the $meera Blyton Licorice formed a Candy Company in Hamilton, Ontario, and Canada, to produce Sour Patch Kids. The motto of Sour Patch Kids was invented in 1985. When they invented that, Sour Patch Kids hit the U.S. market, and they quickly became a success. Now I will tell you why I like this type of sour candy. First of all, Sour Patch Kids are both sour and sweet. This way, I can taste both sour and sweet! (Although I prefer sour more). This includes a part of their motto: "Sour, then sweet!" It has an excellent balance between sour and sweet. That is why I like it. Another fact about them is that they are soft and chewy. I have just created a spectacular invention.  The invention I created is a type of pen, but this pen is different from any other pen. When you draw with the pen I designed, it can create objects that you painted into something real. For example, when you draw a little dog with the pen I invented, it can turn into a puppy. When you want to erase the dog, use the erase button on your pen, select delete, and press "I am sure." When it is dark, you could press the " light"  button. The pen lights up!  When you draw with the pen in lighting mode, the objects you draw will light up too. However, you have to replace the battery inside it. You have to use a specific type of battery I created, called "Potiesiry." When you renew the battery, make sure to close the opening so that the battery would not fall out. If you add a different variety of batteries, the pen will not run and make anything you draw.  You do not have to draw on paper with a pen. You could draw on...

I am afraid of any variety of insects or bugs. Insects are cool, but it is not a very wise decision if you want to meet them.  First of all, some bugs are poisonous. When bugs are venomous, they get aggressive and tend to attack. When bugs start to attack, it can cause severe damage. They can bite you hard when you touch, attack, kill, or provoke them. Some bugs might look cute, but they are very dangerous too. While some people might like the tarantula, because of its furry skin, some might not. The tarantula is venomous. Although a tarantula rarely bites, when it bites, it releases a type of venom, like a bee’s sting. When it does that, it is weak, but it is very painful.  While some bugs can only bite you a bit, others can kill you! For example, the black widow is a type of venomous insect. I go to the San Mateo Foster City School District (SMFCSD). The idea that I like the most about my school is that they have a daily schedule. The students will receive a model of the daily schedules before-hand so they can prepare for the next lesson. Providing a copy of the daily schedules before-hand will be more effective since we are doing distance learning, but it will be beneficial even when we are in school. The second thing I admire about my school is that they don't assign too little homework or too much homework. They provide specifically the right amount of education every day. So the students won't be too exhausted or over entertaining. The other thing I like about SMFCSD is that the programs include fun things! Learning and play at the same time could help the students want to learn more since it is playing (but learning! (So confusing!)). For me, I enjoy doing this. Like typing.com! For example, chatting can help you understand more about a new friend. If you have a friend that you don't know very well yet, then you should try chatting and asking some questions to him/her. Talking/chatting is caring too. It can help other people feel much more considerable about you. For example, if the neighbor is carrying massive groceries, you could come up and chat with them while helping them lift groceries. Leaves become red and yellow as if someone painted on it. I see a tall tree with rough, hard bark. The leaves sway as the wind blow. I see unusual, red, spiky roses that I like to grow in my garden. I think the best pet in the world should be a dog. Here are some things I think that make a dog the best pet. First of all, dogs could protect you. If you are feeling unsafe, a dog can protect you from other people. If someone or something is not being nice to you, a dog can bark or bite the person/thing. When you are bored, a dog can play with you. For example, if you want to play ball with someone, you could throw a ball to the dog and play with him/her. I like the season of "Summer" because you can drink lots of lemonade and eat lots of watermelon.
