The Best Day of My Life :D (by now)

Today was the first day of school, and I was excited. I logged in to my google classroom and looked at the message the teacher sent. She sent a google slide telling about her. After I looked at the google slide, I went to the classroom. 

In the first two hours of school, it was pretty fun, we got to share our feelings and thoughts. At 9:00, we had recess. At recess, we are not supposed to look at our computers, so I went to draw. At 10:30, we were back in the classroom and the teacher let us write a poem telling us about ourselves. 

And here is the poem I wrote: 

Where am I from?

I am from summer and watermelon all over town

I am from the tropical summer

From play dates and sleepovers

I am from the noisy kitchen

With wood tabletops and seats

Steaming pots and clinging pans

From Chinese food to hamburgers

I am from writing to math

I am from pencils to pens

From paint and chalk  

I am from my stuffed animals

I am from electronics

From computers to iPhones 

I am from Youtube to YouKu (a Chinese youtube)

I am from watercolor to colored pencil

From oil pastel to acrylic paint

From summers spent on the plane to the great wall

In the United Airline

I am from Christina

Who taught me kindness, passion, and love

I am from Jason

Who taught me math, English, and science

I am from light to dark

Finding my way 

I am from tv, iPads, and video games

From Minecraft and Roblox

I am from all I have loved

I am uniquely me ^_^

After we read the poems out loud to the class, we did some art. The teacher let us draw the technologies we use now, and I saw a lot of people telling about some technology I don't know, so I guess I just use technologies too less :D (Not really).

At the end of the day, the teacher posted an exit ticket in the classroom, (a question to ask at the end of the day).

Something I enjoyed about today was...

And I answered like this: One thing I enjoyed about today was having to meet new classmates and have fun, communicate and try out how the classroom works. This is my best day in 2020!! (so far)

This is my best day ever! Tomorrow is school again! Bye!
