"Stanley's Release" Expert Summary

 In the fiction excerpt titled “Stanley’s Release, an expert from holes”, they talked about an adolescent boy, Stanley, who is punished for a crime he didn’t commit and was sent to a boys’ jail detention center. This story stated that Stanley will soon see his parents. Stanley was exhausted, so he got something to drink and eat from Mrs. Pendenski. Stanley drank the juice but did not feel like eating, so he did not eat. Then, the Warden quickly discovered that Stanley had put his things from his cabin inside Stanley’s suitcase. The Warden said Stanley has to open the case, but Stanley’s lawyer said to not open it. The Warden and Stanley’s lawyer argued for a long time, but Stanley did not move. Lastly, the Attorney general said that Stanley is free to go, but Stanley did not want to leave his friend, Hector/zero, so he stood there. The lawyer sighed and said: Bring me Hector’s profile, Mr. Pendenski. Mr. Pendenski returned a few minutes later and announced that the file was apparently misplaced. The Attorney General was outraged. She complained about the case to the Warden, and the Warden looked at the suitcase. The Attorney General assured Stanley’s lawyer that he would get the records, so the Attorney General took over. The Attorney General went inside the office to have a discussion with the Warden. Stanley turned to see Armpit (a name) and Squid (a name :) ) coming out of the room. Soon, all the boys from Group D had gathered around Stanley and Zero. The Warden came out and the boys departed. The Attorney General explained that They don’t know why Zero was incarcerated and they don’t know how to get Hector’s records. Stanley’s lawyer took hold of Zero’s hand and said “C’mon, Hector, you’re coming with us.”
