Haunted (S1)

The house at the edge of town has been abandoned for many years. It remained in my apartment for a long time. No one mentioned it, and the house just sat there alone. People have different opinions about the home. Some people did not care, and others looked scared as if the house is coming to life. 

It was fall break, and I saw the old house that had been abandoned while walking with my friends. I assumed that it must be the old house at the edge of the town that had been abandoned for many years. Before I came to see the house, I thought it would not be scary at all, but after I saw it, I was quite scared. 

I opened the door and crawled around the house like I was a dog, sniffing for sausages. When I paid closer attention to the house, I see that there were spider cobwebs and old furniture everywhere. Because there was no air conditioning, my friends were getting hot. They wanted to drink some water. I said to wait, but they did not listen. When they went to get something to drink, I privately searched for a secret base (in case I found one and everyone crowds over me).

Then, I found an old television with an old CD, marked: behind all the couches. I wondered what that means. To make sure, I looked over every sofa in the house and discovered that there was a little cabinet behind a white couch.

I went in I saw a piece of paper in the cabinet! Although it had some rips and wrinkles, I could still see the little lines marked to the destination. I examined closely and saw that it looked like a treasure map! I told my friends to look out for a treasure box and went back home. 

I imagined gold, silver, coins, and crowns all over the place. I then soon fell asleep. 

The next day, I went to follow the treasure map starting from the old, haunted house. When I arrived at the place marked X, it was just grass. I met up with my friends and explained what was happening. My friend stated that sometimes in detectives use shovels to dig up the treasure! 

Once I heard that I asked my mom and dad to get a big shovel that can dig up dirt. My mom and dad hurried and got the shovel, but when they came back, they first asked us why we need the shovel. I said: "Just playing, digging up some dirt to see who hid the toy in the dirt, just a game... now, could I have the shovel?". My dad finally said, "ok, fine" I was relieved.
