An object in my house that pays special significance to me is...

The object in my home that has special significance to me is the piano. It is important to me for many reasons. 

First, I like my piano because it is special and unique. It is a full 88 keys piano rather than a keyboard that has fewer than 66 keys. There is so much to explore. Its texture in sound is different than any other piano. It is extraordinary, and I nearly play it every day.

Experimenting with making melodies on the piano is very fun. I like to enhance a composition of music by myself. I play around with harmonies and different sheet music. 

Next, pianos are soothing, and you can practice them at all times. You could make the piano sound like a bird whispering in the forest, or you can make it sound like a massive whale in the deep of the ocean. 

I remember the weekend I got this piano. We just moved to a new house and decided to get a real piano instead of the electric one we already have at home. We went to the store to pick the piano, and I carefully picked the piano out by myself. When we drove home, I was so excited to try the new piano! I hurried to try the texture of the keys after it was delivered to our apartment.

When we have a family party, I like to play the piano to make it more interesting. Playing it makes me feel relaxed and calm, which is an indispensable instrument to play when I feel mad or sad.

Lastly, I like to play pop music, classical, baroque, and romantic piano. I listen to music on Youtube, and I desire to perform them myself.

I cannot imagine what it would be like without my piano.
