I think the best pet in the world should be a dog. Here are some things I think that make a dog the best pet. First of all, dogs could protect you. If you are feeling unsafe, a dog can protect you from other people. If someone or something is not being nice to you, a dog can bark or bite the person/thing. When you are bored, a dog can play with you. For example, if you want to play ball with someone, you could throw a ball to the dog and play with him/her. I often get bored, so I frequently play with my little puppy. A dog can also get trained to do things you say to do. When a dog gets good enough to do whatever you say to do, it can help you do more things than just playing and protecting you. Dogs can also help you get groceries, heavy bags, move certain items, and more. Dogs can help you find things. If you are looking for a missing jacket, let the dog sniff it out! I ran across the corner of the street and saw a car that has a back tire. There was also a car bucket on the back. There was something suspicious in the car bucket, a treasure chest!  ...  I quickly yelled out: "sir!" Once I heard that I asked my mom and dad to get a big shovel that can dig up dirt. My mom and dad hurried and got the shovel, but when they came back, they first asked us why we need the shovel. I said: "Just playing, eh, digging up some dirt to see who hid the toy in the dirt, just a game... now, could I have the shovel?". My dad finally said, "ok, fine" I was relieved. ... I ran to the house and got the shovel. When my dad passed me, he said, "be on a lookout for ..." my mom yelled, "come here!" my dad went to meet with my mom, we started to dig up the treasure.   In the fiction excerpt titled “Come Away, Come Away,” (from Peter Pan/Peter and Wendy) Peter first enters the room looking for his shadow with Tinker Bell making sure not to wake the children in the room. Tinker Bell said that Peter’s shadow was in the big box. Peter jumps at the box which meant the chest of drawers taking everything out of them and finding his shadow, closing Tinker's bell up in the drawer. Peter tries to stick his shadow back on with soap, but when the soap doesn’t work, Peter begins to cry. Peter’s crying awakens Wendy, and the two of them introduce themselves to each other. Wendy learns that Peter lives in a strange, faraway place.  Next, Peter reveals that he does not have a mother and does not want one. Then he tells Wendy he cannot attach his shadow.  Wendy sews Peter’s shadow up to his foot. Finally, Peter tells Wendy that girls are more useful than boys.

The house at the edge of town has been abandoned for many years. It remained in my apartment for a long time. No one mentioned it, and the house just sat there alone. People have different opinions about the home. Some people did not care, and others looked scared as if the house is coming to life.  It was fall break, and I saw the old house that had been abandoned while walking with my friends. Today, I went to the theater that makes movies. I am an actor and I need to make the movie interesting. I needed to have some ideas in order to do that, so I started out with a script.  I wanted to make the story like this: I was a regular person and turned into a mermaid in the ocean and having all sorts of adventures. Then a missile shot in and I was back to normal again, but that needs advice from the director. After I told the director what I thought, the director looked at my script and said: "I will wait for other people to turn in their scripts, then I will look at yours."  After a few minutes, the director told us to label our scripts with our locker numbers. He also told us that after he decides which one he is going to use, he will put that script in the actor's locker.
